Anyone who watched the 6th series of Masterchef would have been very impressed with the Sunderland born Stacie Stewart who reached the finals of Masterchef, well what has Stacie been doing since Masterchef?
Well Stacie has been busy launching her own bakery, the aptly named "Beehive Bakery" and we at Andys Kitchen thought that it would be lovely to sample some of Stacies cakes, and believe me we were not dissapointed.
From the site you can see the produce that Stacie makes, but unless you live local you will only be able to sample the "Other Cakes & English Puddings Range", and the "Biscuits & Tray Bakes Range" as posting out larger cakes or small cupcakes would be a nightmare as they would not stand the journey, these can be posted throughout the UK and you are offered the choice of standard or special delivery.
The products that you can order for UK delivery are the following:
All butter shortbread cut in chunky fingers
Large cranberry and white chocolate oat cookies (shown above right)
Double chocolate molten brownies (shown above centre)
Peanut butter and milk chocolate blondies (shows above left)
Nutty flapjacks (these can be done without nuts, dipped in chocolate and with dried fruit if required)
Sticky toffee pudding and toffee sauce serving aprox 4 portions
NEW ADDITION: Sticky spiced apple, nut and sultana pudding with a brown sugar brandy drizzle ribstickingly good! serving aprox 4 portions
Lemon drizzle loaf cake serving aprox 6-8 big slices
Apple and cinnamon crumble loaf cake serving aprox 6-8 big slices
Ginger and poached rhubarb loaf cake serving aprox 6-8 big slices
Banana and walnut loaf cake serving aprox 6-8 big slices
We decided to order the Banana and Walnut Loaf Cake, and we also ordered the now discontinued Rich Chocolate Pudding with Chocolate Sauce, the goods arrived nice and quick and were very well protected. The cakes were wrapped and presented in a lovely homemade fashion and you got a big hit of bananas as soon as you took the cakes out of the box.
The Banana cake was beautiful and I have never eaten a cake that is so moist, and as much as I hate to admit it, the cake was better than my own Banana Loaf, there were plenty of walnuts in there which added a lovely texture, and the flavour was fantastic. The Chocolate pudding although now discontinued was pure chocolate decadence and I hope that in the future Stacie puts this back on her menu (believe me people will pay the extra it is worth it).
Stacie has now added 2 more ventures to her portfolio and they are a Cookery School and also a Private Dining Experience and we would like to wish Stacie all the best with these ventures Im sure that they will be a great success.
So please try some of these delicous treats they really are beautifully homemade produce.

I don't remember Stacie, I don't think I watched that series. Cakes look good though.
